UPDATE

SOURCE OF
GRAVITY END
OF SUMMER UPDATE

SOURCE OF
GRAVITY/GRAVITATION
RECORDS

Mezo - Superconscious has just been
mailed
out to those on the exclusive Source of Gravity promo
roster. Remixes from
Future Element (Justin Scott Dixon/Chris Hand) &
Mark Wheawill on this
massive release, which features vocals from Mezo
himself!! Early
support from Hernan Cattaneo has been encouraging as has the
licensing of the
track onto the latest Pioneer backed CD Pool promo CD.

Also on promo at the moment is
Alexander Church's double "A" side - "Downward Spirals"
& "Sinful
sessions" - this one has had backing from www.xpander.nl, Balance Promote, Hernan Cattaneo, Chris
Fortier, Chris Gainer, Fred
Numf, Barry Gilbey, Chris Cargo plus many more top names.
Following on as Source
of Gravity Records 013 will be the latest T.S.Y.T.
productions. T.S.Y.T. is of
course one of Mark Wheawill's monikers. He is set to pen
more singles for
Baroque Records as well as Source of Gravity and will
be working on an
album in the future. His next
offerings "Divine" and
"Momentum" feature African chanting as well female vocals.

Mario & Eric J's debut
"Greenhouse/The
Key" will be released on Gravitation Records in mid
September. Good reactions
have been forthcoming for this one and look out for tracks
like "Next Stop",
"Expressions" & "Daisy Cutter" which will surface
on Gravitation and
Source of Gravity Records from these guys in the near
future. Sandwiched in
between Eric and Mario's releases will be singles from 4th
Orbit and Trey Smith.
More big time backing for these releases from the likes of
Hernan Cattaneo and
Chris Fortier.

Early next year will see several new
remixes
and productions. Material from Source of Gravity, Mario
& Eric J, Alexander
Church, Katakana, Blast Furnace plus Sterio &
Wheawill is all in the
pipeline.

NEW
MEDIA

Press & internet exposure
for the
Source of Gravity related artists is on the increase. Mark
Wheawill has just had
an interview with DJ Barbarella of Freebass Magazine printed
in the latest
issue.  Label manager Chris Sterio will be writing
regularly for www.residentadvisor.com.au and
www.progressive.nu . Look out for a
regular column in the near future! Also there is info about
Source of Gravity
already on www.progressive.nu as well as an
interview with Chris who discusses Source of Gravity on
their related website
www.ivibes.nu. More stuff in print
see local papers in the Isle of Man take interest in Source
of Gravity's 10th
release. Also Manx music portal www.djlines.com is set feature
Source of Gravity as well. Finally Illusive Promotions' new
website www.illusivepromotions.com features
Chris & Mark as well as Trey Smith, Sean McClellan (4th
Orbit/KVK) &
Gordon Carpenter (4th Orbit/KVK). Promoter Ken Cawthorn has
just completed the
site for the Charlotte based promotion
team....

IN THE
MIX

The Soda gig in Derby went well for
the
Resonance DJ crew of Olly, Craig and Chris. A return to the
club is likely early
next year. In between times Soda resident Jools (Katakana)
will be playing @
Resonance in October in Manchester. 31st August sees Chris
play at the Isle of
Man "Blingfest" - an outdoor event featuring some of the
Island's top DJs. Mark
Wheawill will be playing at a mysterious Cave party
in...well i can't say...it's
top secret!!!!! After that Chris, Craig and Olly will be
playing for Marcus
Graham @ his Subliminal Funk night @ the Dry Bar, Manchester
on the 13th
September.

PRODUCTION
NEWS

A new production team have been at
work,
with Jools (Katakana) and Chris from Source of Gravity
teaming up as the
"Shanghai Corporation" for the first time. It is uncertain
whether the remix
they completed during their 3 days studio work will be
released, but they have a
track ready as well, which is at present untitled. The
resulting production is
very Deep Dish and sounded wicked when road tested at
Soda in Derby. More
production news involved a Sterio/Wheawill production called
"Spellbound" which
is a warm track with lush chords and a strong bassline.
Currently there is a
vocal and instrumental version, with a remix due to complete
the package.

Other news see Mark Wheawill work on
tracks
for Baroque including "Transitions" and "Skylite" which will
be released on
Method Records - this track has already gained airplay on
Manchester's top radio
station Key 103. Finally Blast Furnace's "Orion" track,
which samples
Bladerunner is being remixed by Katakana and Alexander
Church as a double remix
package. Release will come early next year.
